Sam has worked in the pedorthic industry for eight years. He began his career fabricating custom foot orthotics, earning his Certified Pedorthic Technician (C.Ped Tech) credential—an essential step toward achieving his Canadian Certified Pedorthist (C.Ped) designation. Sam has expertise in assessment of the foot, ankle, knee and hip pains. His practise includes gait analysis, footwear science, designing and fitting custom foot orthotics and braces. With formal education from UBC Okanagan and Western University, Sam blends precision design with clinical expertise to deliver high-quality, personalized care.

As an active runner, cyclist, and skier, Sam understands the demands of movement and is dedicated to helping patients restore comfort, mobility, and confidence in their daily lives.

A Pedorthist is an allied healthcare professional with education and extra training in:

  • Custom designing and fitting orthotics and orthopaedic footwear

  • Modifying shoes and incorporating braces, compression therapy, night splints, and other supportive devices
